Service: Farm Tourism Scheme

Purpose

The scheme envisages to provide to the tourists a clean, hygienic and comfortable stay in the farm houses spread across the State of Punjab. The scheme also aims to provide cultural experience to the domestic and foreign tourists through their exposure to village life.
Eligibility

The Farm Tourism Scheme is categorized as follows.

a) Gold

a) Silver

For Gold Category

  • An area of more than 5 acres with comfortable accommodation of not more than 9 lettable rooms (18 beds) built in it as per standards prescribed in the annexure-II to this scheme.
  • Facility for providing cooked meals for the tourists.
  • Facility for hygienic storage of the food.
  • Facility can be managed by a Manager also.

For Silver Category

  • An area up to 5 acres having comfortable accommodation of not more than 9 lettable rooms (18 beds) built in it as per the standards prescribed in Annexure - II to this scheme.
  • Facility for provision of cooked meals for the tourists.
  • Facility for hygienic storage of the food.
  • Facility to be operated by owner only.
  • The unit can be run in any existing house in a village also.
Application Fee

A non refundable application fee shall be payable for registration of Farm Tourism Scheme.

For Gold Category

  • Rs. 5000

For Silver Category

  • Rs. 3000
Duration of Certificate:

Lifetime .
List of Document to be uploaded online:
  • Application form duly filled (online).
  • Checklist of facilities duly filled (online). Mandatory
  • Signed Declaration (online). Mandatory
  • Additional relevant background information, if any
  • Coloured photographs of the property and the rooms proposed to be let out. Mandatory
  • Layout of the farm house duly specifying the rooms to be offered to the guests/tourists. Mandatory
  • Copy of ownership documents of the property duly attested by a Group - A officer or a Public Notary.Mandatory
  • NOC (if any)
  • Photo Identity Proof (Driving License/Passport/Voter Card/Govt. ID Card,Ration Card,PAN Card,Pensioner Card,Freedom Fighter Card )/ ਫੋਟੋ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ਪਤਰ ( ਡ੍ਰਾਈਵਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ / ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ / ਵੋਟਰ ਕਾਰਡ / ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ID ਕਾਰਡ, ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਕਾਰਡ , ਪੈਨ ਕਾਰਡ , ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨਰ ਕਾਰਡ , ਫਰੀਡਮ ਫਾਈਟਰ ਕਾਰਡ ) Mandatory
  • Payment of fee online. Mandatory
Issuance of FTS Certificate

Certificates will be issued by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) , PHTPB
